I use twitter. Mainly music, comedy, London related stuff. A little bit of West Ham. Tricky but I try to avoid Covid stuff. Enjoy calling out my mp when he tweets something stupid.

Even if you only use social media passively - that is by not posting anything, they harvest vast amounts of data from who you are connected with and what you read.

You don't actually have to do anything other than create an account and they suck you dry.

I am on Twitter, never post anything but just follow people I am interested in. I am not sure what the problem is with it as it is easy to ignore/block anybody. I get a load of information from it but have no need to use it to communicate with anybody.

Great app. I do have over 1000 people blocked though and even more muted so they don't appear on my feed.

I don't understand what is not to like...you get all your news in one place. Obviously there are a lot of idiots on there but don't have to follow them.
